Kamala Harris’s policies are putting women at risk, urge female prisoners housed with men 

There are just three weeks until the U.S. election and, as of right now, America is still reeling from Kamala Harris’s dreadful interview with Fox’s Bret Baier.

During the 26-minute exchange, which premiered on October 16 and has since gone viral, the Vice President was grilled over her political failings and policy flip-flopping. 

One of the most compelling moments was when Baier asked her if she still supported the right for trans prisoners to use tax dollars for gender reassignment surgery.

As is standard, Harris served-up a fresh portion of word salad which completely failed to provide an answer, yet her ramblings begged another pertinent question: why are trans people in opposite-sex prisons in the first place?

Before we proceed, let me be clear: I wish trans people every respect and happiness.

But pre-op, biological men—especially those guilty of sex crimes—pose a unique risk to women in the penal system. This is a no-brainer. So why are they frequently housed together?

This is a sensitive subject that has been debated many times over the past few months, but it’s becoming increasingly relevant as polling looms. Not least because Harris, the only female candidate in the race, seems to be disloyal to her fellow women on this particular subject.

The issue was most recently reported on feminist website Reduxx. Earlier this week, they ran a piece entitled Female Inmates in Minnesota Say Trans-Identified Male Transfers Make Them Feel “Scared” And “Unsafe”.

In it, prisoners at the Shakopee correctional facility shared their safety concerns with a former inmate, who then passed the information onto journalist Genevieve Gluck.

One of them said the trans-identified male inmates have caused her to be “scared, uncomfortable, and unsafe.” The source claimed they’d triggered her PTSD.

“I feel like there are some here not for the right reasons,” she wrote in a letter. “They are having sex in bathrooms, [we are] finding cum in bottles, and people are touching themselves under the table,” the note reads. “I really wish legislation would take this [seriously] and change this.”

Other women in the facility claim to have been sexually assaulted by trans-identifying men.

There are even claims that male inmates are striking up “deals” to impregnate women so those women can sue the state for financial compensation.

Together, the catalog of allegations are both concerning and depressing. Not least because they aren’t isolated incidents; they exist within a much broader context of cases.

One high-profile example relates to Ramel Blount, a male-to-female detainee at Rikers Island, who in February 2022 raped an unsuspecting female prisoner after she finished showering.

A trans convict in Illinois, Janiah Monroe, formerly Andre Patterson, was recently accused of raping several women inmates in a female prison. 

Meanwhile, trans inmate, Demi Minor, got two women inmates pregnant in a New Jersey women’s prison in 2022. 

Needless to say, this is a major women’s issue — something a female candidate should perhaps be sympathetic to. So why on Earth is Harris failing to deliver? 

Instead of securing safe spaces, she has repeatedly offered her support to Gavin Newsom’s California law, which gives trans inmates the right to choose their facilities. The much-maligned Democratic Governor of California, who Trump recently called ‘Newscum’, signed the Senate bill into law in 2020. 

Since then, it has caused a litany of problems, both legal and political.

Evidently, this is a serious dereliction of duties for Democrats, who claim to be the party of women. Consequently, it may suggest why Harris is polling so badly.

Trump is now leading in a number of polls, including one CBS projection which has him leading Harris by three points among independents.

Betting platform Polymarket has Trump leading in every swing state except Nevada.

Ironically, it is Trump — the man they falsely accuse of being a misogynist — who has helped keep biological women safe from the left’s creeping gender agenda.

Back in 2018, his administration scrapped laws for transgender prisoners that were introduced under former President Barack Obama. Trump ensured an inmate’s biological sex determined where they were housed, not the gender to which they identified. 

Now, he promises to double-down on this by ensuring that male-to-female athletes don’t perform in women’s sports. 

Although this has predictably been branded transphobic by campaigners, it’s in clear alignment with American voters, who overwhelmingly believe that prisons, much like sport, should be single-sex.

No amount of Harris double-speak will change that.
