Nuke kid on the block! Biden-Harris hire calls for ‘queer theory’ to determine nuclear policy 

Back in June 2022, Sam Brinton became the first openly genderfluid person in federal government leadership when he landed a job at the Office of Nuclear Energy.

It didn’t end well.

Within a few months he was arrested and charged with theft of luggage at an airport; he has since pleaded guilty to petit larceny in a sweetheart plea deal that results in no jail time.

Yet, somehow, the Biden-Harris administration still isn’t deterred by woke diversity hires.

The latest example is Sneha Nair, who was appointed as special assistant at the National Nuclear Security Administration in February.

According to a biography from her previous employer, foreign affairs think tank Stimson, Nair’s expertise comprises “nuclear security and domestic violent extremist threats to national security and critical infrastructure”, which sounds pretty good, right? 

Yes. Except for the fact she’s now demanding the use of “queer theory” to better understand nuclear threats. 

Apparently, as part of a radical DEI agenda, Nair believes the so-called LGBT academic framework—a field of post-structuralism influenced by French philosopher Michel Foucault—offers a better understanding of atom-splitting weapons. 

“Queer theory informs the struggle for nuclear justice and disarmament,” she wrote last year, reports Fox News. “It helps to shift the perception of nuclear weapons as instruments for security by telling the hidden stories of displacement, illness, and trauma caused by their production and testing.” 

She adds that DEI “is essential for creating effective nuclear policy.” 

Incredibly, it doesn’t end there. She also believes queer theory can off-set insider threats.

“By understanding DEI as a set of values critical to security, and therefore as an element of an effective nuclear security culture, stakeholders can explore how DEI can contribute to stronger security at nuclear facilities,” she said in an article from 2023. 

“Collectively, these principles (of DEI) can work to mitigate counterproductive work behavior and prevent disgruntled employees from becoming insider threats,” she claimed. 

She then asserted that bolstering DEI is a national security matter. “DEI principles and advancement must be considered crucial assets for strengthening nuclear security implementation,” she added. 

Furthermore, Nair believes that using queer theory could also help empower women, who she claims are oppressed within the nuclear sector. 

“Queer theory also identifies how the nuclear weapons discourse is gendered: Nuclear deterrence is associated with ‘rationality’ and ‘security,’ while disarmament and justice for nuclear weapon victims are coded as ‘emotion’ and a lack of understanding of the ‘real’ mechanics of security,” she added.

However, perhaps her most bizarre claim is that queer theory helps to reject “the tenet that nuclear deterrence creates security and disarmament creates vulnerability.” 

Huh? Since when did nuclear deterrence not create security?

This even goes directly against NATO’s policies, which stress that nuclear weapons are a core component of their overall capabilities for deterrence, alongside conventional and missile defense forces.

“The fundamental purpose of NATO’s nuclear capability is to preserve peace, prevent coercion and deter aggression,” the Western defense alliance states. “As long as nuclear weapons exist, NATO will remain a nuclear alliance. NATO’s goal is a safer world for all; the Alliance seeks to create the security environment for a world without nuclear weapons.”

Quite right, too. Even the UK concurs on this matter. They’ve had an independent nuclear deterrent for over 60 years to stop the most extreme threats to national security. Given that Russia is significantly increasing the variety of nuclear capable weapons that it possesses, this is vital.

So why the hell is a woke Democrat pushing the suggestion of intersectional theory onto something so serious? Something so beyond the remit of esoteric sociological theory? I can only assume it’s a form of suicidal empathy—the desire to appear kind, compassionate, and empathetic, even to the point of a death spiral.

Why else would they support mass illegal immigration, communist ideals, and radical Islam?

It can only be liberalism to the point of self-sacrifice.

When it comes to nuclear weapons, the data proves this. Currently, Russia has the most confirmed nuclear weapons, with over 5,500 nuclear warheads. That’s way more than the USA, who have their’s spread out over the US and 5 other nations: Turkey, Italy, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.

This comes just days after Olga Skabeyeva, one of the leading pro-Putin voices on Russian state TV, suggested Russia was prepared to unleash nuclear strikes tantamount to World War Three if Ukraine’s invasion of Kursk continued.

Call me old fashioned, but I’m not sure queer theory is our greatest defense against this. 

If anything, we need the straight men back in control. Especially come November.
