‘He’d approve of saving America!’: Hollywood icon Stanley Kubrick would’ve voted for Trump, says legend’s daughter 

The Hollywood establishment is, by and large, an arm of the Democrat machine.

We know this because actors regularly hector audiences on political issues they know little about. Only recently, Jennifer Garner became the latest dullard to patronize the public. Before that we had Bryan Cranston and Julia Roberts.

However, not all of the entertainment sector is so painfully predictable.

Believe it or not, there is actually some independent thinking happening on America’s West coast, and, fittingly, the proof has manifested through new media, not the boring legacy stuff.

It all comes after Donald Trump released a campaign video featuring clips from Stanley Kubrick’s psychological war drama Full Metal Jacket. The scenes, which showed strong, alpha-male aggression, were spliced alongside footage of today’s Biden-era military, including Dr Rachel Levine and soldiers in drag.

The result was compelling, but trolls quickly came out in force to suggest Trump should probably face a copyright infringement lawsuit. 

However, in a stunning repudiation of liberal group-think, Kubrick’s daughter, Vivian, clapped back by insisting her father would’ve been a vocal Trump supporter.

Taking to X, she said: “TO THOSE WHO THINK MY FATHER WOULDN’T HAVE WANTED #TRUMP TO USE FULL METAL JACKET FOOTAGE, HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS:

“These are very dangerous and strange times and using this footage is doubtless pure expedience. Trump is always seeking to end wars and use peaceful methods. And that’s primarily what FMJ is about.

“On this tooth and claw planet, we need a very strong military – so I’m going to stick with the idea that FMJ footage was used because of its powerful, realistic portrayal of boot camp, juxtaposed with the entirely demoralizing and inappropriate injection of WOKE ideology into the USA military.” 

She continued: “Truthfully, I believe my father (who supported Reagan), would very much approve of saving America, indeed the world, from the highly destructive globalist forces threatening to take over this planet. And if footage from FMJ helps Trump make the point that the US military needs properly-trained, super-tough, focused, dedicated warriors, and not people who join to have their sexual reassignments paid for, then Trump has my blessing.”

She then anchored her message with a ringing endorsement for the Republican nominee ahead of November’s critical election.

“My father had a great respect for life; his movies being unimpeachable evidence of his love for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness! So on that basis, I feel very confident he would be a Trump supporter, and would forgive using FMJ incongruously, if it helps the cause of freedom!”

The post quickly went viral and has already received 4 million views and more than 14,000 likes.

Unsurprisingly, it generated some heartfelt replies.

“Wow, so refreshing to see Hollywood royalty think so rationally and communicate so sensibly. Especially at a time when everyone in the industry is just parroting propaganda,” said one X user.

“Oh man, this post did NOT go the direction I was expecting from an heiress of Hollywood lineage. Bravo!” said another.

Meanwhile, others made reference to the ongoing Ukraine/Russia conflict, which many believe was enabled by Biden’s weakness in the presence of Putin. 

“Promoting a strong military doesn’t promote war, and those who think it does clearly doesn’t understand the value of a strong military in preventing war,” said one Kubrick fan.

“Appeasement and weakness doesn’t deter aggressors. Making them afraid does.”

The unlikely support from Ms. Kubrick couldn’t have come at a better time; it coincides with the fact that Trump is now leading in a number of polls, including one CBS projection which has him leading Harris by three points among independents.

Meanwhile, betting platform Polymarket has Trump leading in every swing state except Nevada.

With just a few weeks to go, this is all promising stuff. And the endorsement of Kubrick, albeit via his daughter, certainly adds to the momentum. After all, he was a highly-respected visionary. 

From The Shining and Spartacus to Eyes Wide Shut, he could always see something his Hollywood peers were blind to. Seemingly, that was also true of politics. 

Either way, Kubrick is best known for directing the 1971 dystopian classic A Clockwork Orange. Fittingly, he’s now helping ‘Orange Man Bad’ into the White House.

Even humorless Democrats must be able to see the humor in that.
