Lefty gays rage after RuPaul’s pal Santino Rice comes out as a Trump supporter

Rice had been banned by Democrat-controlled Twitter for questioning Covid dogma.

A former main judge on the Emmy-winning show RuPaul’s Drag Race is voting for Donald Trump–and the alphabet mob is losing their mind.

Santino Rice, a gay fashion designer and reality television icon, has used his then-Twitter and now-X account as a political soapbox for some time, but rabid leftists are just now taking umbrage to his political leanings because of his support for Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election.

Rice was first made famous as a finalist on Project Runway season two, and he reappeared on the reality television scene years later as a friend of host RuPaul Charles and main judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race. On the show, he served as a fashion critic for the drag queen contestants for six seasons. Those years on the popular show made Rice a celebrity in his own right in the gay and drag communities.

A few years later, Rice made an appearance on the daytime talk show The Doctors where he talked about his struggles with rheumatoid arthritis, celiac disease, and psoriasis. He advocated for more natural ways to treat these issues rather than pharmaceutical drugs. That made the 2020 Covid pandemic and subsequent vaccine controversies hot topics for him.

Rice used his Twitter account to disagree with government messaging, Dr. Fauci, and vaccine mandates. Many of those posts were flagged by Jack Dorsey’s Twitter censors, and his account was permanently banned. Once Elon Musk took over, Rice’s account was reinstated.

Rice has not kept quiet since being given his voice back in the digital town square. He has been vocal in supporting Donald Trump as well as condemning President Biden and coup-leader Kamala Harris. In one post, Rice defends himself against potential claims of misogyny for not supporting Harris, claiming it is not her gender that he has a problem with.

“I would love to see an intelligent and capable woman President some day, Kamala Harris is not her. There’s only one obvious candidate to rebuild America and stabilize the rest of the world and that is President Donald J. Trump,” he wrote on X this month.

Unable to fathom that a gay man is not in lockstep with the Democrats’ undemocratically installed candidate, in true intolerant fashion, the gay magazine Out published a hit piece on Rice. The poorly written diatribe offered no substance or argument of fact. It was full of ad hominem attacks: from the headline calling him “clueless” to the final sentence that proclaimed him a “hateful, backwards bigot”.

The piece also chose to highlight some replies to Rice from X. The posts were apparently supposed to show Rice getting “roasted by a bunch of drag queens”. That turned out to be only two D-list drag performers calling Rice “unhinged” while asking him to “sashay away”, à la the famous Drag Race departing line. In reality, a pair of mediocre gasbags blew some hot air in his general direction.

But leave it to the lazy bottoms at Out to not even get the most basics facts correct. The outlet falsely reported that Rice was a contestant on season five of Project Runway, when in reality it was season two. I guess a simple Google search would have distracted from the hard-hitting journalism at work, so the falsehood was published.

The real reason Out felt the need to attack Santino Rice is because the tide is turning, the left’s control over the gay community is slipping, and a gay celebrity with some name recognition is not sticking to the well-rehearsed narrative. Since, thanks to Elon Musk’s commitment to free speech, the left and the alphabet mob can no longer silence dissenting voices, they choose to demonize instead.

Their lies and propaganda about Donald Trump and the Republican Party are no longer working, and more and more rational LGBT Americans are realizing they were trapped in an abusive relationship with the progressives for too long. The DNC has seen the writing on the wall; that’s why they spent a six-figure sum in LGBT targeted advertising for the first time ever this election cycle. A record number of gay Americans are likely to vote for Donald Trump this year. Santino Rice is just one of the many.
