Body-shaming JD Vance proves progressives are hate-filled hypocrites

Body-shaming is sexist and wrong.

That’s the message modern feminism has pumped out for the past few years; the idea that people in the public sphere should be judged on their performance, not their prettiness. 

After all, Washington D.C. is not a beauty pageant.

However, it seems the sisterhood sold itself out, this weekend, when New York magazine ran an article entitled “You Cannot Convince Me J.D. Vance Is Hot,” which savaged the senator’s physical appearance and ‘fuckability’. 

Written by ‘liberal’ feminist EJ Dickson, the bile-filled rant was a hot mess of sexist double-standards and political bitterness, and came just days after Vance’s artful performance against Tim Walz in the recent presidential debate.

Dickson seemed particularly annoyed that the Daily Caller suggested gay men might’ve fallen in love with Vance as a result of his cool demeanor. “In the words of Gay America, he came out looking snatched,” they wrote. 

Clearly triggered, Dickson launched into a ranting, irrational tirade. 

“The reason why people think Vance is weird and creepy is because he has weird and creepy ideas. We have to speak truth to power: J.D. Vance is not hot, and no amount of coordinated information warfare is going to persuade the American public otherwise. Even if he is six-foot-two,” she wrote, cruelly.

She then further derided him as ugly on her X account, which has 34,000 followers.

“As proof that JD Vance is not hot: we were trying to find art for this post where Vance looked ugly,” she gloated. “The photo editor sent us a bunch of options and we said ‘literally any of these could work’.”

Naturally, the vicious hit-piece generated lots of cheer from rageful progressives, who were upset that Walz performed so poorly (“I became friends with school shooters!”).

The fabulous Ann Coulter also noticed this, nailing it in a hilarious X post.

But that wasn’t all. Dickson’s poorly-written article also unleashed lots of low-key homophobia from supposedly liberal women, who are frequently some of the most bigoted people on Earth.

“I’m surprised how little notice has been paid to how he’s ‘butched’ himself up from the potato he once was. The beard! The wannabe billionaire weight loss and muscle-up! The obvious influence of his masterful mentor Peter Theil,” spewed one reader.

“Jethro DeWayne Vance looks like a Keebler elf. And because he’s a white Republican male, he’s likely a closeted one too. So the ick factor runs especially high here,” said another.

“This [he] is so gay,” said another. “Just come out of the closet already!”

Needless to say, if any of this were written about a female politician, especially a Democrat, there’d be 24/7 mass-hysteria, especially from the likes of Dickson — a woke, privileged brat who denounces ‘patriarchy’ yet likely lives off her father’s wealth and connections.

I mean, seriously, how else can such a poorly-skilled ‘writer’ work for New York and Rolling Stone? It screams nepotism.

However, for all its vulgarity and needlessness, the episode wasn’t all bad. Dickson’s body-shaming later came back to haunt her; unflattering images soon circulated online, including not-so-edifying screenshots of her husband.

“People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones,” people across the political spectrum declared online.

Unable to take the hatred she’d so casually dished out, Dickson quickly suspended her X account and cravenly hid from criticism. Typical cry-bully behavior. 

Still, it was a useful reminder that the ‘progressives’ are often the most censorious, embittered, hypocritical and emotionally immature people, especially in an election cycle. They demand high moral standards of everyone but themselves. Why? Because of their arrogance. They truly believe they are superior, which is a major red flag.

The same is true of left-wing feminists. They demand certain codes of behavior, yet frequently flout them when convenient. 

The reality of such narcissism is, of course, something else. And, with any luck, it will be their undoing come November. After all, for all their talk about Vance’s appearance, they’ll ultimately reveal their true selves.

And, boy, will it be ugly.
