What’s up with the left and pedophilia?
Equality California co-sponsored a bill exempting some predators from registering as sex offenders.

In a dimly lit hotel, the man in black is scared. Seated between a wall and his interrogators, his back remains rigid and his wide eyes shift. Occasionally, he’s able to mask his terror with an attempt at self-righteous indignation, but his body language ultimately betrays him and resumes the fear he’s right to feel. The man in black stands to lose it all and he knows it — he’s just been busted by group called PCI Predator Catchers Indianapolis for allegedly trying to meet a 13-year-old boy for a sexual encounter and it’s being live-streamed to the world.
The man in black is Jeren Miles, self-professed manager of community development for Meta, Facebook’s parent company, who was reportedly canned the day after the group live-streamed their sting with the rattled predator. He can be seen practically cornered by an off-camera duo who orchestrated the bust. He admits he did set out to meet with the boy and gave his information and location for that very thing to take place, but dovetails those facts with abysmal confessions. The unseen woman delivers a damning line of questioning as the camera never leaves Miles’s flustered face.
“[In the chat log], you said ‘makeout with you, touch you, suck you.’ Is that what you said?” to which Miles quietly admits, “I did.” She asks in clarification, “You said that to a 13-year-old boy?” and again: “I did.”
“I was flirting,” Jeren says on the stream.
TechCrunch’s Ingrid Lunden got hold of Meta spokesperson Drew Pusateri. Pusateri — once the press secretary of Hillary for America’s Missouri office back in 2016 — was unable to sway Lunden of the Metaphile story’s un-newsworthiness, and went on to say that “the seriousness of these allegations cannot be overstated. The individual is no longer employed with the company. We are actively investigating this situation and cannot provide further comment at this time.”
Miles has nuked his social media, but images of his work before Meta are still available for inquiring minds. Thanks to friend-of-the-court Angy Ngo, we know he served on the board of directors for Equality California but no one would know if he still holds sway there, since it appears they’re actively scrubbing his name from their rosters.
Outspoken reached out to the press office of Equality California wanting to talk about that very scrubbing from their website — among other items — and we got a response from Samuel Garrett-Pate who, according to his email signature, is the managing director of external affairs for Equality California. He took umbrage at the term “scrubbing” and informed us it’s better characterized as “updating” the website to rid him of mention, since he’s no longer on their board of directors. Fair enough. Garrett-Pate also pointed us to a tepid and official response to the situation at hand:
In appreciation for his speedy response, I offered more space for him to elaborate on the firing and if, beyond those meager 29 words, the organization had anything to say on the “deplorable” nature of pedophilia. By the time of this article’s publication, there’s simply radio silence in my inbox.
I followed-up with Garrett-Pate directly:
“The man who held an objectively honorable position with your organization was willing to ‘makeout with, touch, and suck’ someone who was half a decade from becoming legal. Why is a statement fewer than 30 words enough for Equality California? Why isn’t it on your landing page so that the first thing people see is that he’s no longer there? Why call them allegations when there’s a video of him admitting what he was attempting to do? Is it a policy not to disavow pedophilia?”
Equality California is an advocate for safe and supportive schools, they say. How do you think it might fare with parents knowing there hasn’t been an active, vocal condemnation of one of their own trying to “touch and suck” someone who isn’t even high school aged?
If this story gets filed under breaking news, it’ll be tongue-in-cheek. The idea that the alt left doesn’t overly concern itself with adults wanting to do naked things with the kiddos surprises roughly zero percent of conservatives. Toss the word “California” into the mix, and we roll our eyes hard enough to look at our own brain stems. Anyone heard of NAMBLA? Headquartered in San Francisco, it’s an organization that’s “strongly opposed to age-of-consent laws and all other restrictions which deny men and boys the full enjoyment of their bodies and control over their own lives.” NAMBLA is short for the North American Man/Boy Love Association. If it doesn’t raise your predator-alert hackles, congrats on your morals and keep your eyes on the alt left pulling fast-ones in your state’s legislative bodies.
Consider this: nearly a year and a half ago, California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed Senate Bill 145 into effect, which relaxed sex offender laws further than what they already (quite shockingly) were. Before, people who were arrested for coming into contact with a minor’s vagina wouldn’t automatically need to register as a sex offender if the minor in question was at least 14 and the one making said contact was no more than 24. Whether or not the adult would have to register as a sex offender for the protection of children would come down to a judge’s decision. With Senate Bill 145, Newsom was touted as bringing an end to LGBT-pedo discrimination because now, anal and oral sex within those age parameters won’t automatically require any sex offender registration either.
“Today, California took yet another step toward an equitable society,” State Sen. Scott Wiener, a San Francisco Democrat, gloated. Embarrassing. Who asked for that? What big brain with pull in the alt left maintained that that’s what the LGBT community at large wants, and is his/her name in Ghislaine’s little black book?
Don’t let it blow your mind, but you know who co-sponsored that “LgBT eQuALiTy!” bill with the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office? Our friends at Equality California. Then Executive Director Rick Chavez Zbur said in a release: “If we want a California for all, then we need a justice system that treats all Californians fairly and equally — regardless of who they are, what they look like or whom they love.” So instead of calling out the dangerous nature of letting the early-teen genre of pedophilia go unchecked, Equality California fought (and won) to have it expanded to include LGBT pedos. (Slow clap?) With the collective enthusiasm for actual deplorables that the alt left exalts, it’ll be ten minutes before #Jeren2024 starts trending.
The video of his bust picked up serious traction when Reddit user johntardis uploaded it to the 26.1 million-user strong r/videos on Thursday afternoon, but as of now, major outlets such as CNN, the New York Times, Washington Post, and other alt left organizations are mum. Par for the pedo-protecting course. Sad.
I often wonder how people who open the doors for sexual predators are able to sleep at night. Hopefully, it’s far away from middle schoolers.
