Stocking meds and rushing to wed: TQ+ loonies prep for Trump

Thanks to the fear mongering of the media and Gay Inc., LGBT leftists are in the throes of doomsday prepping before Donald Trump takes office again in January. The Washington Post, one of the guilty parties stoking the unfounded alarm, chronicled the insanity last week.

The article details how some LGBT Americans are rushing to get married or adopt children with the fear that the new Republican administration will roll back rights. It also describes how transgender Americans are stockpiling medications and hormones–as if adults will no longer have access to them come Inauguration Day.

One Washington state transgender woman who works at a middle school even has a contingency plan to move to Canada if life under a second Trump presidency becomes “intolerable”. Most predictably, the Post reports on all of this as if it is completely rational, sane, and grounded in reality.

In the same breath that the outlet gives credence to the hysteria, WaPo can’t find much to back it up, only citing the facts that Trump has pledged to stop using children as guinea pigs for gender ideology and to protect women’s sports from being overrun by biological males.

These two positions are wildly popular amongst American voters and are at least partially why Republicans saw sweeping victories in the last election. There is no overlap in the promises that Trump made to protect children and women’s sports and for adults to receive medications or get married. Deliberately implying otherwise, as the Post has done, is not only unethical but harmful.

While it may be easy to feel sympathy for the gullible, it is the media and progressive left who are to blame. Before the election, they preyed on the naïveté of people, stoking the fire of identity politics. They insisted that if Republicans, especially Donald Trump, were elected, minorities’ “right to exist” would be in danger. Why else equate Republicans to Nazis, as they did non-stop this year, if not to give the impression that death camps were imminent?

Now that same media is dazzled that people are reacting so negatively to Republican victories. This is what we mean by the term media gaslighting—setup a reality to instill a response in the population, then act as if it is perfectly natural that they are exhibiting that response. It is not hyperbolic to call this relationship abusive. Leftist media has accosted LGB and T Americans for political purposes for far too long, and it is high time someone calls them out on it.

Those gays and lesbians who have seen and fled the left’s corruption have a clear perspective on the truth, something that most media will never report. The right for gays to marry is not in danger. For one, the Respect for Marriage Act, a bipartisan piece of legislation passed recently, has codified some major protections for marriage equality. Furthermore, the new Republican Party platform has removed any anti-gay rhetoric, especially regarding marriage.

Donald Trump has announced appointments and nominations of at least five openly gay men to high level positions in his administration. Scott Bessent will be nominated as the head of the Department of Treasury. Bill White has been tapped to be the ambassador to Belgium. And Richard Grenell, the first openly gay member in a Cabinet position during the first Trump presidency, will now serve as a presidential envoy to help international relations in some of the most contentious areas of the world.

If the media is to be believed, Trump would show hatred and distrust of these three men. Instead, he is putting them in positions of great power and national importance. The Washington Post should be celebrating these achievements for gay Americans, not relishing in the mental anguish they helped create over the last decade.
