UN reveals staggering number of women’s medals lost to trans athletes under Biden-Harris

She claims to be a devoted fan of the UN.

But Kamala Harris might not like the international organization’s latest report, which details the staggering number of medals sports women have lost to trans-identified male athletes.

The new study, entitled “Violence against women and girls in sports“, asserts a whopping 600 female athletes have lost 890 awards across 29 sports.

Sadly, the paper didn’t elaborate on the sporting categories or the time frame, but it’s assumed the data was collected within the Biden-Harris administration.

Reem Alsalem, the UN special rapporteur, presented the findings to the UN General Assembly, earlier this month.

“Sports have functioned on the universally recognized principle that a separate category for females is needed to ensure equal, fair and safe opportunities in sports,” the report says.

“Multiple studies offer evidence that athletes born male have proven performance advantages in sport throughout their lives, although this is most apparent after puberty.

“Undermining the eligibility criteria for single-sex sports results in unfair, unlawful and extreme forms of discrimination against female athletes on the basis of sex.”

The report also asserts a clear recommendation to authorities, both in sport and at state level.

“In order to ensure safety and fairness in sport at all levels, all relevant bodies should ensure that female categories are exclusively accessible to persons whose biological sex is female”.

It continues: “In cases where the sex of an athlete is unknown or uncertain, a dignified, swift, non-invasive and accurate sex screening method (such as a cheek swab) or, where necessary for exceptional reasons, genetic testing should be applied to confirm the athlete’s sex.”

Although this may sound common sense, it pushes back against the progressive values of Harris and Biden, who’ve long argued for trans ‘inclusivity’ in sport.

In 2019, then-Senator Kamala Harris co-sponsored the so-called Equality Act, which would force schools to allow trans-identified men to compete in women’s sports.

Most notably, Harris and Biden rewrote the landmark federal civil rights law, Title IX.

Part of the 1972 amendments to the U.S. Higher Education Act, Title IX prohibited sex-based discrimination in academics and sports among all schools and educational programs in receipt of federal funding. In April, the Biden-Harris administration expanded these protections to include discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation.

While the implementation of these changes has been blocked in several states, it shows a clear direction of travel that will only continue if Harris is elected in next month’s election.

But the issue could harm her chances of success.

Kim Jones, a co-founder of the Independent Council on Women’s Sports, was a lifelong Democrat voter, even voting blue in 2020. However, when her daughter was recently defeated by Lia Thomas in a college swimming race, she switched allegiance to the Republican party.

“I’m a perfect case in point,” she told the Washington Times. “I’m no longer willing to vote for anyone who doesn’t know what a woman is, ever.

“And I hear from women like me every day. For that matter, also men. It’s a much bigger and more widespread problem than people realize.”

She’s not wrong. A Gallup poll released last year found that nearly 70% of people said transgender athletes should be able to compete only on teams that align with their biological sex.

To date, a number of high-profile female athletes have clapped back at Harris’s left-wing approach to biological gender in sport. Ex-swimmer Riley Gaines recently said that Biden and Harris have “perverted the plain meaning of Title IX by reassigning sex-based protections meant for women and girls to men and boys claiming a female identity.”

Likewise, top college swimmer Kaitlynn Wheeler said that a Harris/Walz win “would spell the end of female competitive sport, according to a former NCAA athlete.”

“A vote for Kamala Harris is a vote for the erasure of women in sports,” she told Fox News.

Trump, on the other hand, wants to protect women’s spaces. He has previously called Democrats who support trans-inclusivity in sport as “ridiculous” and “so far out”.

At campaign rallies, he has promised crowds, “I will keep men out of women’s sports.”

Meanwhile, Tulsi Gabbard recently lent her support to the Nevada women’s volleyball team.

As reported on Outspoken, the former Hawaii Congresswoman could be seen supporting players after they refused to play an October 26 match against Utah State because of trans team-member, Blaire Fleming.

In a statement to OutKick, the team said: “We, the University of Nevada Reno women’s volleyball team, forfeit against San Jose State University.

“We demand that our right to safety and fair competition on the court be upheld. We refuse to participate in any match that advances injustice against female athletes.”
